I LOVE this for your community! I am 51, & remember marching in Washington 30 years ago, when choice seemed threatened. I obviously grew complacent (especially considering I live in the hellscape of Texas), because I never truly believed Roe would be overturned. I am doing what I can here, because the only way to burn the anger (& not go to prison) is to channel it. So. Much. Rage.
I needed to read this today. Sometimes I wonder if I can hold onto hope and then the Vote Yes on issue one becomes a reality. You mentioned the night Hillary lost the election. That still burns in my heart and I could not understand how people I knew voted for Trump. Thank you for always lifting my spirit through your writing, Connie. I envy not being able to do that.
Do you realize that every citzen in Ohio, including men, won full reproductive rights including but not limited to abortion? Does anyone commenting here really think this will end well for women and girls?
Connie Schultz, your Ohio GOP politicians are already talking to my 🤢Kentucky GOP politicians.
Yes, Kentucky voted that the KY Constitution protects the rights of privacy for abortion, but,
The conservative 🤢 KY Supreme Court ruled that the 6 week limit, with the only exceptions after 6weeks being risk of eminent death or loss of major organs function falls within the scope of the KY Constitution.
Don’t trust the barstids a millimeter. The fight has just begun.
Thank you for giving voice to my rage too and paving the way for strong women who won't be afraid to speak out AND take over the power of being elected to office, provided we dont allow democracy to die.
Connie Schultz you are wonderful. Righteously fierce and beautifully angry. As another 66 year old grandmother, I am completely grateful that you have a platform and a clarion writing voice. And while I too was hoping to "retire" in 2016, I haven't yet gotten tired of fighting the good fight.
Thanks for the link to your MSNBC interview. I just watched it and you were pitch perfect. Thank you, Connie!
Connie, you continually blow me away. Thank you so much for the gifts of your brilliance, your integrity, your anger, and your heart.

A much bigger threat lurks for others living and breathing. RIP Special Agent Morse. Female taken far too soon in Idaho.

So can we now channel women's anger into getting men out of women's shelters, prisons, bathrooms, and sports?
