This touched me to my core. I work with folks in high conflict and often with trauma. Most of them also have privileges they've never named as such. This, this gives me more ways in. In Hakomi, a body-mind approach to psychotherapy we were trained to "JOOTS", Jump Out Of The System". This nailed it for me. Gratitude to your grace in sharing. When I read your word crafting and the content my heart smiles with being well cared for on the comprehending journey.

This reminds me of my father in laws' reminder when anyone would complain about something going wrong. "At least no one is bombing your village". Those words always hit home.

We can't afford healthcare for American children because we need to keep bombing everyone else's for the love of Jesus and Israel . . .

This little wisdom has stuck with me today. Maybe it extends to communication with peers. Sometimes it seems someone is not listening, but they are more affected by your words than you realize.
